School Management Philosophy

Since its inception, the school has been governed by a philosophy of management founded on 3 pillars:

1. VISION
Vision Statement: “We seek to be recognized as a world class basic school, providing teaching and learning environments of the highest quality”. Management decisions and day-to-day actions are governed by the vision of the school.

2. CORE VALUES
Two core values or beliefs of the school are “Excellence” and “Integrity”. These values define the day to day decisions and actions of school management.

3. THE MEDICAL MODEL
Teaching and learning in the school are based on the medical model, founded on the principles of diagnosis, intensive care, and progress review. The school carries out periodic diagnosis to determine the causes of under performance by pupils. Pupils diagnosed to be under performing are placed under intensive care to receive special teaching, coaching and attention by teachers. School management undertakes periodic review of the performance of pupils under intensive care.
